Behind the holster, service desks for alterations, tech repairs, and rentals stand closed, their surfaces reflecting the diffuse overhead glow. The monsoon season hangs in the air, visible as a slight sheen on the polished counter edge. Leading lines formed by the counter's edge draw the gaze toward the empty service area where props separate the nursery section from hearing aid workflows.
