A steel bridge maintenance cradle hangs suspended over the dark, churning waters of the East River under the deep blue twilight sky. The metal structure, illuminated by faint ambient city light reflecting off the wet surface below, contrasts sharply with the shadowed river currents. In the distance, the faint glow of Manhattan skyscrapers pierces the dusk, while the silhouette of the bridge's suspension cables frames the upper portion of the view. One red navigation light blinks steadily from a nearby telecommunication mast, cutting through the heavy, blowing snow that drifts across the frame.
