Cool blue twilight from the wet season washes over a clinic intake desk inside an imaging suite in Crawford Market, Mumbai. Glass and polished surfaces reflect the faint, dignified blink of monitor LEDs against the dimming window light. Insurance cards stack neatly beside a card reader, their edges catching the ambient glow. Forms lie flat, unmarked and waiting, their paper texture soft under the cool illumination. The wide panoramic view shows the disciplined order of the space, where the deep blue of the evening sky meets the sterile white of the counter. One shadow from a hanging fixture falls across the corner of the desk, at the base of the quiet readiness of the room.
