A Mudi stands centered in a small Hohhot yard, its wiry coat catching the cool blue light of early autumn twilight. Fine rain streaks through the air, darkening the clipped grass and creating a soft sheen on the dog's tan and black fur. The animal's distinctive pricked ears and short muzzle face the camera with steady, attentive stillness. Behind the subject, a low fence and blurred shrubbery define the residential boundary, while the overcast sky diffuses the remaining daylight into a uniform, moody gray. Water droplets rest on the coarse texture of the coat, showing the breed's rugged character against the damp, quiet setting. One wet blade of grass in the immediate foreground blurs slightly, at the base of the image in the specific moment of the drizzle.
