Bright orange ferromagnetic warning signs hang prominently on the white wall of a compact medical alcove in Palma de Mallorca. Sunlight from the setting autumn day streams through a nearby window, pooling in warm, amber patches across the sterile white floor and the metallic surfaces of the blanket warmers. The warm glow contrasts sharply with the cool, clinical gray of the locker keys hanging in neat rows. Muted reflections stretch along the polished tile, softening the sharp edges of the equipment. A small stack of folded blankets sits inside the heated unit, their texture visible in the low-angle light. at the edge is the sharp, geometric shadow of the warning sign cast directly onto the floor tiles.
