Morning Light on Valencia Bridge Maintenance Cradle and River Water

First light spills over the concrete arches of the Torres de Serranos, casting long shadows across the dry riverbed of the Turia Gardens. A heavy steel bridge maintenance cradle hangs suspended over the cold, still water of the old canal bed, its rusted chains catching the early sun. Below, a group of workers in high-visibility vests gather near the base of the structure, checking equipment and talking amongst themselves.
