Morning Light in Beirut at Sunrise Light

The first light of dawn touches the curved roof of a vintage green and cream heritage tram as it navigates the steep, cobblestone streets of Beirut. The vehicle’s metal body reflects the pale blue sky above the dense cluster of limestone buildings that line the hillside. Steam rises faintly from the tram’s exhaust, mixing with the cool morning air. A few pedestrians in heavy coats stand near the curb, waiting for the ride to ascend toward the city center. The quiet rhythm of the city waking up, with the tram’s red tail lights glowing softly against the gray stone pavement.
