Warm lamplight pools in the deep corners, casting amber reflections on the dust-moted air and highlighting the texture of heavy fabric draped over nearby forms. The dry season air leaves the space clear, save for the artificial haze. Behind her, rough plaster walls contrast with the sleek, dark surface of a cutting table. one drop of condensation rests on the cold window pane.
