Dramatic clouds press against the high windows above, casting shifting shadows across the wet stone and polished metal. Early spring air is suggested by the cool tones in the light, yet the scene remains strictly mechanical. The symmetry of the wheel aligns perfectly with the parallel lines of the conveyors, creating a rigid geometric balance. A small ripple breaks the water's surface near the wheel's base, distorting the reflection of the stone arch above.
