A lone vendor stands beside a wooden cart, his face illuminated by the amber light as he folds a faded linen tea towel. Behind him, the arched colonnades of the historic center stretch into shadow, their stone surfaces worn smooth by centuries of foot traffic. A few scattered receipts lie on the cart's edge, caught in the dim light, while a clay pot sits unused in the corner. The quiet solitude of the city after hours, with no people in sight except the solitary figure arranging his wares.
