Mexico City Viaduct Undercroft at Deep In The Night Light

Deep in the night beneath the massive concrete arches of a Mexico City viaduct, damp ferny stone surfaces glisten under the harsh glare of sodium streetlights. A water taxi rests quietly at a floating dock nearby, its hull reflecting the dim ambient glow. Water drips steadily from the undercroft, pooling on the rough pavement where a discarded step stool sits abandoned near a cluster of fruit left on the ground. The gritty, lived-in reality of the urban infrastructure, with condensation forming water rings on nearby bottles and a simple vase resting against the wet concrete, at the base of the image in the authentic, unpolished texture of the city after midnight.
