Matatu in Foggy Harbor Before Dusk

Copper-toned light washes the harbor mouth, turning the drizzle into a fine, shimmering curtain. A matatu vehicle cuts through the heavy market-day traffic, its form reduced to a dark silhouette against the glowing sky. The wet asphalt reflects the muted colors of the surrounding stalls and distant boats. Mist rests on the water, softening the edges of the scene. Early spring leaves on nearby trees appear damp and heavy. The vehicle weaves carefully between parked cars and pedestrians carrying goods. Raindrops bead on the windshield, distorting the view of the busy street. One wet tire track glistens in the foreground, marking the path through the fog.
