Late autumn light falls through a thin drizzle, softening the harsh coastal glare that usually dominates the scene. The cat's dense coat shows individual texture, with a broad face and high-set ears catching the diffused moisture in the air. Behind the animal, rough-hewn railings and peeling paint mark the passage of time on this Idlib home. The 14mm lens shows the proximity of the porch edge, where water droplets rest on the wood grain. A brass hinge on the door frame reflects a muted gray tone, anchoring the domestic setting in the damp late morning.
