Glove hooks stand empty beside the bags, waiting for the athletes. The rainy season keeps the air still, reflected in the clean, uncluttered surfaces of the check-in desk. Dust motes float in the slanted beams, highlighting the texture of the worn rubber mats. One reflection of the window frame appears on the polished metal of the timer casing.
