Under a heavy indigo twilight sky, a crowded university amphitheater in Sapporo fills with graduates in black gowns and caps. Students sit in tiered concrete rows, some holding white graduation certificates while others chat quietly with family members standing behind them. A few individuals wear traditional Japanese formal wear, against the academic regalia. The low cloud cover diffuses the fading light, casting soft shadows across the stone steps. A small group gathers near the front stage area, adjusting microphones for the upcoming ceremony. The bustling anticipation of a significant academic milestone in a modern Japanese urban setting.
