Loading Oven in Bilbao
Just after sunrise, the wet cobblestones of Bilbao’s Casco Viejo reflect the pale blue sky and the warm glow of streetlamps still burning out. A local bakery worker in a white apron leans over a stainless steel counter, using a wooden peel to slide a tray of bread into the oven, while ivy vines creep up the stone wall behind him. The scene is framed by the dark, textured masonry of the old quarter, with the rough stone contrasting against the smooth, reflective metal of the bakery equipment. Steam rises from a nearby vent, catching the first rays of sunlight as a delivery van drives past in the background, its headlights cutting through the morning mist.
