Beside the still blue water, a mechanical rehabilitation pool lift stands ready, its white plastic seat and metal frame against the cool liquid. The equipment rests on a tiled deck organized with neatly stacked towels and medical supplies along the wall. Deep shadows fall across the floor, at the base of the space in clear disciplined care. Late summer heat lingers in the air, visible through the clarity of the light and the stillness of the water. The lift's hydraulic arm extends slightly over the edge, casting a sharp geometric shadow on the blue surface below.
