Lampshade Detail on Shelf in Tabou Night

A cylindrical lampshade rests on a rough wooden shelf, its surface textured with the uneven grain of dry season timber. Stark fluorescent light from above casts harsh, bright reflections along the rim and the polished metal fixtures securing the shade. The surrounding walls are coated in a thick layer of limewash, appearing chalky white and slightly cracked under the artificial glare. Shadows fall sharply behind the object, defining its volume against the flat backdrop. Small dust particles settle on the wood, visible in the intense beam. The edge of the shelf shows signs of wear, with a small chip revealing darker wood beneath the lighter surface.
