First light after rain washes over a narrow Granada alley where water runs in thin rivulets down pink stucco walls toward a low iron gate. A local vendor adjusts a stack of bright red lacquered wood boxes near a doorway, their glossy surfaces reflecting the wet cobblestones and the pale morning sky. Beside the entrance, a faded ceramic mug sits on a wooden ledge, condensation beading on its rim, while a folded linen cloth drapes loosely over a nearby chair, its creases softened by the damp air.
