A heavy iron door handle mounted on a weathered wooden door in a historic Krakow courtyard anchors the cool early morning scene. Frost rests on the metal surface, highlighting the intricate scrollwork and the patina of age on the dark wood. Condensation beads on a nearby windowpane, blurring the view of the cobblestone path beyond the threshold. One drop of water falls from the handle onto the stone step below, catching the faint dawn light.
