Inside a cramped Stockholm apartment kitchen during the deep night, a stainless steel cooking pot sits on a lit gas stove, steam rising slightly in the cool air. Beside it, a stack of metal mixing bowls rests on a cluttered wooden counter next to an old cookie tin. Through the window, the dark blue hues of the city night are visible, with faint lights from nearby buildings reflecting off the wet pavement outside. The room is illuminated by a single overhead bulb, casting shadows across scattered utensils and a hair comb left on the edge of the sink. A quiet, lived-in moment of late-night preparation, with the city’s urban texture visible just beyond the glass.
