Kinshasa Porch Window Bench Dry Season Twilight

Cool indigo light floods the porch as the dry season twilight deepens over Kinshasa. A wooden window bench with woven cushions sits beneath a large opening, facing the darkening sky. Outside, dry autumn leaves drift downward, their orange and brown hues visible against the deep blue. Inside, muted reflections of the falling foliage stretch across the polished floorboards, forming faint, shimmering paths. A classic rocking chair rests beside the bench, its slats catching the last ambient glow. The floorboards show a grain pattern where the light falls across the surface. One leaf rests on the edge of the bench, its veins visible in the dim light.
