Beside the log, a set of brass keys hangs from a hook, catching faint reflections from the dimming sky outside. The room sits empty, with shadows stretching gently across the floorboards. Outside the glass, the dry season landscape fades into deep indigo, while the interior remains illuminated by the ambient twilight. One key rests on the bottom edge of the log, its metal edge sharp against the wood texture.
