A candid street corner in Auckland shows the deep blue hues of indigo twilight settling over the city. A weathered brick wall lines the sidewalk, reflecting the last ambient light from a nearby shop window. Resting on a low stone ledge is a glazed ceramic bowl, its surface catching and distorting the reflection of the bright interior behind it. Beside the bowl, a hand broom leans casually against the wall, its bristles worn from daily use. In the background, the blurred shapes of parked cars and distant streetlights begin to emerge from the dimming sky.
