Under the deep indigo twilight of a Delhi evening, a street vendor stands behind a metal cart, ladling creamy kheer sagar into small clay bowls. The dessert, garnished with chopped pistachios, glows under the warm yellow light of a single bulb attached to the cart's frame. Steam rises gently from the warm sweets, against the cooling air. In the background, the blurred outlines of auto-rickshaws and pedestrians move along the busy road, their headlights streaking past. The vendor’s hands move with practiced efficiency, serving a customer who waits patiently. The vibrant, chaotic energy of Delhi night life, centered on the comforting presence of traditional street food.
