Hospital Packet Sorter Before Noon Intake

Pale walls reflect the flat noon glare into a soft, indirect illumination that fills the clinic exam room near Tiruchirappalli. A white packet sorter sits centered on a metal table, its trays holding stacks of medical envelopes arranged in neat, orderly rows. The rainy season outside casts deep, warm shadows across the floor, against the bright, diffuse light bouncing off the surfaces. Thin metal rails along the sorter create leading lines that guide toward the center of the frame. Dust motes are absent; the surfaces are clean and functional, showing the steady, compassionate nature of the institutional space. The plastic edges of the sorter catch a faint sheen from the overhead light, at the base of the scene in practical reality.
