The sun dips below the flat horizon, casting long amber shadows across the West Bank of Luxor, Egypt. In the foreground, a weathered stone wall frames the view, where a pair of beaded sandals rests beside a simple clay plant pot. A few tourists stand near the edge, their silhouettes dark against the bright sky. In the distance, the towering columns of the Temple of Hatshepsut rise into the hazy air, while traditional Nubian houses with flat roofs cluster at the base of the hill. The quiet end of a day in a historic landscape, with the warm light highlighting the textures of the sandstone and the distant palm trees swaying gently in the evening breeze.
