Honey Light on Drink Cages in Sivas Bay

Honey-colored light pours through a high window, washing the polished concrete floor of a chilled distribution bay near Sivas. Stacks of plastic water bottles fill a wire mesh cage, their labels reflecting the warm glow. Metal bars of the cage create strong leading lines that guide the view toward the back of the room. Condensation beads on the lower bottles against the dry, dusty air of early autumn. Shadows stretch long across the floor, marking the late hour. A small red fire extinguisher stands against the far wall, its bright paint catching the edge of the light. Every crate aligns for rapid movement. A faint reflection of a bottle neck rests on the wet concrete near the cage base.
