Harbor in Halifax at Nautical Dawn Light

The soft blue light of nautical dawn spills over the Halifax waterfront, illuminating the weathered wooden pilings of the harbor. A cluster of colorful fishing nets in bright orange and yellow rests against a stone quay, tangled near a white flowerpot holding resilient coastal ivy. A weathered English Setter stands alert on the wet cobblestones, its coat reflecting the early morning haze as it watches a flock of seagulls take flight from a nearby dock.
