Gondolier Oar Stroke in Queretaro Twilight Fog

Cool blue hour light washes over the stone canal banks of Santiago de Querétaro, where a gondolier leans forward in a disciplined stroke. Mist rests on the water surface, softening the reflection of the nearby colonial architecture. The man grips the wooden oar with gloved hands, his dark uniform contrasting against the pale fog. Water ripples outward from the oar blade, breaking the stillness of the canal. His posture is rigid, focused on the rhythm of the movement. The low angle emphasizes the height of the stone embankment rising behind him. Shadows stretch long across the wet pavement, and the cool light turns the fog into a thick, white curtain that obscures the distant buildings.
