Copper-toned light falls through the canopy above a game trail near Benin City, illuminating a gecko mid-glide between trees. Fine droplets of a light drizzle hang suspended in the air, catching the fading glow. The lizard's webbed feet extend fully, stretching skin membranes taut against the humid cool season air. Leaves glisten with moisture, their green hues deepened by the wetness. The background dissolves into soft, out-of-focus bokeh, isolating the creature's alert posture. Every scale and water bead remains sharp against the blurred forest depth. One raindrop rests on the edge of a leaf in the foreground.
