A pair of dark metal garden benches sits empty on the paved plaza of Buenos Aires during the cool early morning light. The iron frames show signs of weathering with patches of rust and faded green paint visible in the soft ambient glow. Long, sharp shadows from nearby wicker chairs stretch across the stone ground, creating a pattern of intersecting lines. A thin layer of morning mist rests on the base of the benches, obscuring the lowest slats of the seating.
