Fukuoka Japan Early Evening Rainy Overpass Interchange Taillights and Wet Footsteps

Rain slicks the concrete deck of a pedestrian overpass in Fukuoka, reflecting the blurred red streaks of taillights from the highway interchange below. The perforated metal railing creates a rhythmic pattern of shadows across the wet pavement where a single pair of rain boots leaves distinct, glistening footprints. Overhead, the underside of the flyover is striped with dark bands of shadow cast by passing vehicles, against the ambient glow of the city. A few pedestrians in translucent raincoats hurry across the bridge, their figures slightly obscured by the misty evening air. The immediate urban texture of Fukuoka, grounded in the slick surfaces and the mix of artificial light against the damp night.
