A street vendor arranges pyramids of bright orange naranjas and deep purple plums on a wooden crate, the fruit glistening with residual droplets. In the background, the distinctive iron and glass architecture of the Mercado Central looms, its arches framing the damp morning air. A few early shoppers in raincoats move slowly past, their umbrellas folded and dripping onto the wet ground. The quiet, colorful energy of a Spanish market waking up, with the wet surfaces mirroring the vibrant produce and the gray sky above.
