Fruit at Late Afternoon Light

Late afternoon light washes over a narrow Dubrovnik alley, illuminating a white-washed wall where a clothesline is strung between two buildings. One floral curtain lifts slightly in an open window above, revealing a glimpse of a wooden chair inside. Below, a terracotta bowl sits on a stone ledge, filled with bright red apples that catch the warm sun. The rough texture of the ancient stone contrasts with the smooth, glossy skin of the fruit. A small flowering plant in a cracked pot adds a splash of green near the base of the wall.
