Bright midmorning skylight pours through unseen openings, cutting vertical shafts through the humid indoor air. Dust particles float visibly within these beams, catching the pale glow bouncing off smooth, white walls. An athlete lies flat and horizontal across a raised stone plinth, their body stretched in a diving motion. They wear a dark, sweat-sheened jersey and shorts, skin glistening under the diffuse illumination. One arm extends fully, fingers splayed inches from a white plastic disc resting on the polished stone surface. The plinth shows faint scratches along its edges, against the clean, reflective walls. The tight crop isolates the tension between the outstretched hand and the disc, framed by the quiet, light-filled museum space.
