A bustling Tokyo street corner under harsh midday sun shows a temporary fruit stall setup on the pavement. Wooden crates hold piles of shiny red apples and green pears, their skins reflecting the bright overhead light. A vendor in a light blue uniform stands behind the display, wiping his forehead with a white towel. Pedestrians in business attire walk past, some glancing at the produce while others hurry toward the nearby subway entrance. The asphalt shows faint shadows from the surrounding high-rise buildings. A few scattered leaves lie near the edge of the stall, caught in the breeze from the adjacent intersection.
