A barista’s hand, smudged with flour, reaches for a straight razor used for cleaning the steam wand, while a loaf pan of fresh sourdough rests nearby, its crust glowing amber. Basil leaves are scattered on a cutting board, their vibrant green against the polished metal of the espresso machine, where fingerprints catch the sunlight. A thermometer sticks out of a saucepan of simmering sauce, hinting at the kitchen’s rhythm.
