Pedestrians in mid-century attire stroll along the paved walkway, some carrying shopping bags, while others pause to watch the water. The river reflects the amber sky, against the brick facades of nearby buildings. A few bicycles lean against railings, their chrome handles catching the last rays of sun. The bustling rhythm of Philadelphia’s waterfront during the early evening commute.
