Rich amber sunset light floods the indoor stockroom, stretching long, warm shadows across the concrete floor. A heavy steel back door stands closed at the far end, flanked by stacks of plastic returns bins and idle hand trucks. The aisle beyond is lined with rows of empty shelves, their metal hooks and hanging tags catching the copper-toned glow. Shafts of window light pierce the dim interior, illuminating packaging materials, tags, and fixtures resting in orderly piles. The metal frame of the door reflects the bright amber hue at the base of the space, where the quiet waits before the first customer arrives.
