A row of classic 1950s American sedans lines the curb of Ocean Drive in Miami Beach as twilight deepens into evening. The chrome bumpers and tailfins of a turquoise convertible and a cream-colored coupe reflect the growing intensity of the neon signage from nearby Art Deco hotels. Pedestrians in period-appropriate attire stroll past the parked vehicles, their silhouettes sharp against the bright pink and blue glow of the hotel facades.
