Dog Chin on Frosted Armchair in Tuscan Reeds

Crisp white frost coats the wooden armchair and the surrounding reed bed in early summer Tuscany. A dog rests its chin directly on the frosted armrest, its dark fur pressing against the pale ice crystals. Soft overcast light from the late afternoon flattens shadows across the wood grain and the stiff stalks of the reeds behind the chair. The animal's eyes remain fixed forward, steady and alert against the cold backdrop. Frost hangs from every surface, turning the green vegetation into a field of white-tipped stalks. The texture of the rough wood contrasts with the smooth ice along the edge where the dog's jaw rests.
