Soft, diffused dawn light fills a conference room in Guangzhou, revealing a wooden conference table arranged with a white plastic procurement approval tray. Stacks of documents, a black stapler, and a silver pen rest beside the tray, marking a workflow paused at the start of the day. Cool season air seems to settle as a warm desk lamp casts a small pool of yellow light into the far corner, against the pale blue-gray daylight washing over the room. The glass walls reflect the empty chairs, while the smooth tabletop shows faint reflections of the overhead fixtures. A red stamp pad sits open next to the tray, its ink surface still and dark. The edge of the tray catches a thin line of shadow where it meets the wood grain.
