Dawn Light on Molinillos in Guadalajara

Mist rests on the wet cobblestones of a narrow street in Guadalajara as a vendor lifts a wooden crate, releasing a burst of steam that mingles with the gray dawn light. Inside the crate, bright orange marigolds sit beside a cluster of ceramic molinillos, their wooden handles catching the diffuse glow. One, faded blue skateboard leans casually against the corner of a stucco wall, its wheels resting on a puddle that reflects the soft, cool tones of the morning. Nearby, a metal stool stands empty, its surface slick with condensation, while a coiled garden hose snakes across the pavement, its brass nozzle gleaming faintly.
