The first light of dawn casts a soft, pale glow over the Miami harbor, illuminating the steel structure of a drawbridge counterweight tower. The industrial metalwork stands stark against the brightening sky, its form mirrored in the dark, oily surface of the water below. A thin sheen of rainbow-colored oil slicks spreads across the harbor water, catching the early morning light and creating vibrant streaks of color that contrast with the gray steel. The scene is quiet and still, showing the industrial character of the waterfront before the city fully wakes up.
