Cold silver dawn light flattens the edges of a camouflage net shelter in Sudan, casting a pale, even glow over a brass magnet wand rack mounted on a rough wooden post. Thin rain mist hangs low, softening the texture of the green netting overhead and blurring the background into a gray wash. The brass rods gleam with a dull, wet sheen, reflecting the muted sky above. Dust motes are absent; instead, fine droplets rest on the metal surfaces, showing the damp rainy season air. The rack holds multiple wands in strict, parallel alignment, their handles resting against the wood grain.
