Thick sea fog crawls over the concrete breakwater in Hong Kong at first light, obscuring the distant skyline while softening the morning edges of the scene. A weathered wooden stool sits alone on the damp pavement near the railing, its grain visible in the low light. Hanging from a thin wire attached to a nearby post is a spherical air plant tillandsia, swaying slightly in the damp breeze. The muted gray tones of the fog blend with the cool concrete, creating a quiet, solitary moment on the coast. The natural mist envelops the structure, highlighting the texture of the stool and the delicate leaves of the plant against the vast, empty water.
