Dawn Fog Over Meknes Snow Blanketing Quiet Town

Soft, diffused light falls through a thick marine fog that hugs the low-lying streets of Meknes at first light. Flakes of fresh snow settle on terracotta rooftops and dusty earth, creating a muted palette of white and ochre. Ground fog pools in the hollows between traditional stone buildings, obscuring the lower foundations while leaving upper walls visible in layers of receding depth. The air appears still, with no movement in the hanging drapes or the bare branches of nearby trees. A warm glow emanates from a few lit windows, casting soft yellow rectangles against the cool grey and white surroundings. The texture of the snow is fine and powdery, resting lightly on the rough stucco surfaces of the architecture. In the foreground, a narrow alleyway disappears into the mist, its cobblestones barely visible beneath the fresh white cover.
