A Cymric cat sits centered on weathered wooden boards of a shaded front porch in Abidjan, its short, dense coat showing distinct texture in the dim light. Deep shadows cloak the lower body while a soft rim light defines the edges of the face and the unique ear set. The air holds a fine layer of dust that glimmers faintly in the fading natural light. Behind the animal, vertical railings and the darkening street suggest the transition from day to evening as distant city lights begin to glow. The cat's gaze remains fixed and attentive, capturing a moment of stillness against the backdrop of the rainy season. Worn paint on the porch floor adds to the lived-in feel of the scene. A brass nail head on the railing catches a single sharp reflection.
