The summer evening light casts long, hard shadows across the uneven pavement, highlighting the texture of the old brickwork. On a nearby wrought-iron railing, a small wicker basket rests, its weave catching the last warm rays of sunlight. Inside, a few scattered items are barely visible, including a glazed ceramic piece that reflects the fading sky and the cyclist’s passing form.
